How to Download
1) When you begin a download a pop-up will prompt you to "Open" or "Save" the file. Choose "Save". A Windows example is shown here (it will look slightly different on a Mac). Save
2) Take note of where you save the file. We suggest saving to the Desktop so it will be easy to find. Save As
3) If the image loads in a new browser window automatically, try the following:
  • drag the image to your desktop and see if it appears there, or
  • right click the image (control-click on a Mac) and choose "Save Picture As" from the file menu
4) Some browsers may have trouble downloading images. We suggest Internet Explorer or Firefox.
5) If you downloaded the image and it appears corrupted (won't open) or the image is only partly showing then this may be the result of a download error. Try downloading the image again (login, go to "My Account" and choose "Details"). For each image purchase you are allowed 3 downloads over 72 hours.
6) Some of our very large, high-resolution, rights managed images are zipped files. These require an unzip program. If you don't have one you can download WinZip for 45 days for free at (choose the "Download WinZip Now" button).
