| Facts: A waxing moon occurs between a new moon and a full moon when the moons face is getting larger day by day. A new moon being when the moon appears as a thin crescent or is not visible at all. This takes place when the moon is between the earth and the sun and therefore the earth-facing side is not illuminated. Vancouver is located on the west coast of Canada in the province British Columbia. It is the largest city in the province and is named after Captain George Vancouver, a British explorer. Vancouver is often ranked as one of the most "livable" cities in the world. |
