| Facts: Yoho National Park is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and was established in 1886. The name "Yoho" comes from a Cree word for awe and wonder. The park is over 1300 square kilometers and makes up the western slopes of the Rockies in British Columbia. The park contains some 28 peaks over 3000 meters in elevation, along with one of the highest waterfalls in Canada with a free-fall of 254 meters. |
